Mill Creek Golf Club
The golf         Golf came to Salado and Mill Creek in 1968, when an informal 9-hole course was opened as sort of an afterthought for the inn’s guests. But golf didn’t really become a prominent fixture until Robert Trent Jones, Jr. installed a 6,486-yard championship layout in 1979. Jones came back in 2000 to add the third nine, and now the resort has 27 holes carved out of this beautiful Hill Country setting.

Named Creek 1, Creek 2, and Creek 3, they all feature abundant water hazards, fabulous Bermuda greens, and tremendous oak and elm trees.
